What is the salary for a CRNA?
In August and September 2022, we had the Annual Salary and Employment Survey. The survey collected responses from CRNA who practice on a locum tenens basis, as well as those with permanent salaries. The compensation results included only full-time, permanent employees and took into account annual salary and bonuses. This comprehensive survey provides valuable insights into the salary and employment landscape for anesthesiologists.

How does this year's salary for CRNA compare to other years?
The average CRNA salary has steadily been increasing over the years, and despite the pandemic, CRNA salary continued to increase, unlike anesthesiologists who reported a decreased salary in 2020. However, more than a third (36%) stated their salary decreased last year due to the pandemic and 37% said they were laid off or furloughed in 2020.

Metodology
This report was compiled using data from an original survey conducted by LocumTenens.com from August to September 2022. The 2,571 respondents represent a broad range of U.S.-based clinicians, roles, specialties, ages, facility sizes and experience levels. Some recipients had been placed by LocumTenens.com, and some had not. The age range of respondents is 26-79 and 46 medical specialties are represented. The data from the survey responses was compiled and analyzed by experts in the healthcare industry to formulate the insights shown here.Â
